Although I can't read Esperanto well enough to pronounce it (the "x" is confusing me ...), I like the translation of "I'm Still Here". The Artist for that song is actually John Rzeznik -- I translated a song of his to Latin and renamed him to Iohanus Lanius ("Rzeznik" is Polish for "Butcher")

The x is just added on to the special characters with 'ĉapeloj' (hats), when someone is unable to type them properly. Ĉ is the 'ch' in English, ĝ is the 'dge' in 'judge', ĵ is the zh sound in 'version', ŝ is 'ŝ' and ŭ is added to the end of a or e to create the diphthongs aŭ (rhymes with cow) and eŭ (which doesn't exist in English, I don't think).
Some people add a carat ^ to the beginning or end of letters to show them, some people add h's to the letters, but most people I've seen use x's if they can't type the special characters.

I'd love to see your Latin translation - I've heard the song dubbed into French, Spanish, Dutch and Italian, and I really love it. ^_^

*grins* Yeah, I have a method of transliteration somewhat like that, but when I use it, I don't use one letter for two sounds. Š is "sh", but "ch" is tš. Ž is "zh", "j" is dž, etc. I'm surprised that Esperanto uses carets instead of ... er, whatever you call them in the Slavic languages that use them. :)

And yeah, I can pronounce "eu". Latin training. ;)

(I don't believe I've translated 'I'm Still Here', but I have 'Acoustic #3' and 'Black Balloon', although not on hand -- I think I lost them. But Black Balloon was done mostly without a dictionary, so it wouldn't be hard to redo.)

Ah, I knew I forgot one! Hx is the j in Spanish, the kh guttural back-of-the-throat sound. It isn't used very often at all... There's hxoro, choir; ehxo, echo; and sometimes words like hxaoso, chaos, but often it's just changed into kaoso instead.
